20 yıl boyunca birçok şehirde tedavi gören ama bebek sahibi olamayan İmdat ve Saime Güven çifti, Konya'da çifte mutluluk yaşadı. Hamile kalan anne, ikiz bebek dünyaya getirdi.20 yıl önce Kars'ta evlenen 45 yaşındaki İmdat ile Saime Güven çiftinin yıllarca bebekleri olmadı. Kars'tan ayrılarak İzmir'e yerleşen ve burada da birçok hastanede tüp bebek dahil her yöntemi deneyen Güven çifti olumlu sonuç alamadı. Anne ve babalık duygularını tadamayan çift, İzmir'den de ayrılarak Konya'ya geldi ancak umutlarını yitirerek tedaviyi bıraktı. 3 yıldır Konya'da yaşayan Güven çiftini geçtiğimiz yıl komşularının kızı ikna ederek, özel bir hastanede yeniden tüp bebek yönteminin denenmesini
sağladı. Bu kez ilk denemede Saime Güven hamile kaldı. 33 haftalıkken sezaryenle ameliyata alınan anne Saime Güven ikiz bebek dünyaya getirdi.
20 yıl boyunca hep anne olmanın hayalini kurduğunu anlatan Saime Güven, "Yıllarca hastane hastane dolaştık fakat bir çare bulamadık. Konya'ya geldiğimizde ise hiçbir umudumuz kalmamıştı ve tedavi yöntemlerini bırakmıştık. 1 yıl önce komşumun kızı zorla beni 'Bir doktor var ona gidelim, kesin anne olursun' diyerek ikna etti. Manav ona ters bir şekilde bakarak derhal dükkanını terk etmesini ister.Kadın ailesinin ihtiyaçlarını düşünerek:
- 'Lütfen efendim' der. 'paramız olur olmaz getirip borcumu ödeyeceğim.'

Manav kendisine bir kredi açamayacağını çünkü onun eski müşterisi olmadığını,kendisinde bir hesabının bulunmadığını söyler.

Bunun üzerine manav çok isteksiz bir şekilde kadına döner ve 'bir alışveriş listen var mıydı? Diye sorar.Kadın 'evet efendim' der. 'tamam' der manav. 'şimdi onu terazinin şu kefesine koy,onun ağırlığınca diğer kefeye istediklerinden koyacağım'

Kadın bir an duraklar,sonra başını önüne eğer ve çantasını açarak üzerine bir şeyler karalanmış bir kağıt parçasını çıkartır ve manavın kendisine gösterdiği kefeye özenle bırakırken başı hala öne eğiktir.
